Donating to the Bowen Island Public Library Charitable Foundation

The Bowen Island Library Foundation supports literacy and lifelong learning by funding special one-time projects and providing supplemental assistance to Bowen Library in times of change or unforeseen circumstances.

The Foundation has funded: pilot projects like the now very popular Tech Tutor Program, Books for Babies, Summer Reading Club, and most recently the pavilion and landscaping of the Snug Cove Cultural Corner Project.

If you are able, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Library Foundation to support islanders of all ages to learn, be entertained, stay informed, and feel connected.

Donations can be made by credit card online, or in person by cash, debit, or cheque. Donate $20 or more by December 31 and receive a tax receipt for 2022.

The Library Annex and Flex Room have tables, outlets, comfy chairs, a whiteboard, ...and now a headless library assistant to keep you company! Just kidding, they're needed at the desk. 😉 Image description: bookface-style photo of photographer's hand holding up the book "The Assassination of Margaret Thatcher and Other Stories" by Hilary Mantel, which features a headless woman's torso sitting at a table.
