Soirée Jaser pour jaser, April 17: The Shortage of Pilots and Its Opportunities

The shortage of pilots has been a hot topic lately. It became most evident with the setbacks of Sunwing and Southwest Airlines at the start of the year. But this shortage also hits the other smaller players in the air transport industry. What is the impact of the pilot shortage? What are the opportunities ?

Join Vincent Charron at our next Soirée Jaser pour jaser on April 17 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Vincent, through his activities, is at the forefront of this situation. He will share with you his experiences, his frustrations caused by the shortage of pilots, the opportunities in the commercial world and will answer your questions on the subject.

Career opportunities

COPA has issued a call for nominations for the position of President and CEO. In order to encourage the addition of bilingual candidates, it was decided to modify the conditions in order to allow the hybrid work of the future CEO. On the other hand, the CEO's travel costs to guarantee his presence on request in Ottawa would be at his expense. If you are interested in these new terms or want more details, contact our interim CEO Jim Ferrier at COPA 613-236-4901 or copa@copanational.org
