  • Center for Teaching and Learning Technologies (CTLT) Generative AI Symposium
    | November 14 & 16 | 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
    • During this two-day symposium, our focus will be on the applications of generative AI in the realm of teaching and learning. The event will feature a faculty roundtable, a student panel discussing the effects of generative AI on their educational experience, a hands-on assignment design workshop, and a philosophy corner where some of the broader issues and prospects of this technology will be deliberated.

  •   Python for simple data visualizations
    | November 24 | 1:00-2:30 | ONLINE

    • Building on two previous Python workshops, this online workshop will concentrate on various packages to do simple plotting and data visualization in Python. In the hands-on component, instruction will focus on matplotlib which is a well-established Python plotting library for creating static and animated visualizations in Python.
