The first phase of Brennan Park Recreation Centre is underway, starting with upgrades to the arena dressing rooms. Please note the dressing rooms will be closed to the public through late August. The arena washrooms will remain open.

Leadership Camps 

Are you looking for ways to keep your teen or tween busy this summer? Check out our week-long Leadership Camps for kids aged 10-13! Campers will learn how to feel safe and confident when home alone or babysitting other children. They’ll learn how to make and prepare healthy snacks, take part in reading time with our little campers and create crafts and games. These are great options for teens and tweens who are ready for more independence and to start looking after others. Babysitter training certification is included with the Level 2 camp.

Summer Swimming Lessons

Learn how to swim, dive and be comfortable in the water with our range of summer swimming lessons! Spots are still available in multiple levels.

Xwalacktun
Orange Shirts 2021

The renowned Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) artist's Orange Shirts piece has been temporarily relocated to The 55 Activity Centre.
The art will remain in its new location while the renovations are taking place at Brennan Park Recreation Centre.

Internationally recognised Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw artist, Xwalacktun (Rick Harry) was born and raised in Squamish and carries with him the rich ancestries of his father (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw) and mother (Kwakwakw'waks Nation). He attended Emily Carr University and Capilano College. He has received numerous honours and awards for his many contributions to British Columbia and beyond.
