New play space projects being completed in 2022

Play equipment at Rich’s Playground in Sheep River Park will be upgraded after public engagement indicated support for having nature-based elements added to existing standard play equipment. And, after public engagement with ALC stakeholders, it was identified that an art & nature themed play space would be installed at Ethel Tucker Centennial Park. The designs, created with input and support from Indigenous elder, artist and stakeholders and a descendant of Ethel Tucker, include specific art, nature and challenge themed elements; select your favourite until Feb. 15. The chosen designs will be shared the week of Feb 21.

Responsible pet ownership

A friendly reminder to please help us keep our community clean and clean up after your dog. Pet litter is a significant health concern and is an unsightly mess in our natural areas, parks and along our pathways. Utilize the dog bag dispensers and garbage receptacles located along parks and pathways; carry extra bags in case dispensers are empty.
