Canadian Shared Security Operations Centre (CanSSOC) Newsletter - Winter 2020

2021 webinar
The road to actionable intelligence

Join us on Jan. 13, 2021 to learn how CanSSOC leverages threat intelligence and data sources across multiple pilot services and tools to provide actionable intelligence to its member institutions.

Threat Feed to be funded through national program

CanSSOC’s Threat Feed is part of a new national CANARIE program to align the community to a common approach, coordinate and fund cyber security initiatives for Canada’s research and education sector.

Community calls leverage shared intelligence

Starting in January 2021, a new series of community calls will host experts from the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security to discuss current cyber incidents, supported with sector-specific intelligence from CanSSOC.

In September, we shared an update on the Threat Feed platform and a preview of our Vulnerability Management pilot. If you missed the session, we invite you to watch the recording on our YouTube channel.

Happy Holidays from CanSSOC

It has been a busy year for CanSSOC -- from launching the Threat Feed pilot to strengthening partnerships and connecting with the community. Thank you to all our partners, collaborators and community members who played a part in these and other milestones achieved in 2020. We look forward to working with you to celebrate further successes in 2021!

On behalf of everyone at CanSSOC, we wish you a safe and happy holiday.
