| Code of the Month schedule The Saskatchewan Heatlh Authority's Health Emergency Management (HEM) team is pleased to share the 2026 Code of the Month schedule. This initiative supports a culture of readiness by strengthening awareness and understanding of SHA emergency response codes. Each month highlights one code, offering key information, practical guidance, and reminders to help ensure staff are confident and prepared during emergencies. The Code of the Month initiative aims to: - Increase awareness by building familiarity with emergency codes and their purpose.
- Enhance preparedness by providing clear, actionable information.
- Promote safety by reinforcing our shared responsibility to maintain a safe environment for all.
Please see the January Code of the Month Poster for additional information. | New Human Trafficking education module On December 16, 2025, the Human Trafficking online learning module (CS-LM-0093) became available for educational purposes. The purpose of this presentation is to provide information and education about human trafficking for all health-care providers and employees within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This is a recommended module and is available for all Saskatchewan Health Authority employees. This module was prepared by the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Forensic Provincial team. | Foundations for anti-racism training in Prince Albert Join First Nations and Métis Health for a three-part training series that supports the Saskatchewan Health Authority CARES values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Equity and Safety). Through thoughtful discussions and practical strategies, participants will deepen their understanding of the hidden realities of racism and the promise of more inclusive, equitable environments for patients and colleagues. Open to all Saskatchewan Health Authority staff, allied professionals and other health practitioners. All training will take place in Prince Albert from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Location will be given with registration. Please note the maximum amount of registrants is 25. - Module 1: Foundations for Action - January 14, 2026
- Module 2: Indigenous-specific and Anti-Black Racism - January 21, 2026
- Module 3: Being a Changemaker - January 27, 2026

HUG Fund grants improve the quality of care for patients during a hospital stay and/or support staff morale initiatives at Royal University Hospital. The HUG Fund is supported through generous donations to the Royal University Hospital Foundation by individual and corporate donors including Orano’s Wish Fund and other Royal University Hospital Foundation designated funds. Register for Webex here. | Recognition and Appreciation | Theraputic excellence in southeast Saskatchewan Saskatchewan Health Authority Mental Health and Addictions Services southeast teams have completed an internally-developed Therapeutic Excellence training with over 120 front-line staff. The core concept of the training was to cultivate a deeper connection with the clinical components of providing mental health and addiction counseling to increase engagement of clients, and improve therapeutic outcomes. The team is proud to strive towards high-quality care for our clients, and to learn and build together as teams. This has been made into a fillable form or it can still be printed for use. - UPDATE: CS-Q-0002 PHN Immunization Competency Exam questions have been updated. Successful completion of the exam is required for initial PHN orientation and annually. Refer to Learning Modules Online Access Instructions to find the learning module / exam and complete online in MyConnection before March 1, 2026.

Registered Social Workers Provincial Community of Practice: Documentation – Myth Busting and Advancing Practice On January 27, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) Registered Social Workers Provincial Community of Practice; open to all registered social workers regardless of job title, will host a session focused on documentation in social work practice. This session will explore common myths around documentation, clarify what is required and why it matters, identify current challenges, and look ahead to what is needed to better support effective and evolving social work practice.
