BodyWorks Long Weekend Hours of Operation

From November 9 - 11, 2019 BodyWorks will be OPEN on Saturday November 9 and Sunday November 10 with no fitness classes and CLOSED on Monday November 11, 2019 

Meet our BodyWorks Staff 

Sarah Campbell

Sarah started with BodyWorks in August and is in the last semester of a BA in Communications at SFU, working towards applying to UBC’s MSc in Audiology program. As the temporary Program Assistant, she helps with volunteers and administrative tasks for BodyWorks. In her free time, she likes hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and weightlifting – as well as bringing Lucy on walks around the neighbourhood.

Lucy

Lucy was an avid hiker and sprinter in her younger days, but as she is now part of the older adult population, she is interested in staying active for heart health and maintaining mobility. Lucy recently started with BodyWorks and is in the office on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, often offering emotional support to BodyWorks team members who stop by for a visit. Outside of work, Lucy likes naps, short walks meeting lots of people, and snacks.

Healthy Tips

Start your day off with achievning something that "fills your cup". Whether it be getting up 15 minutes early to have personal quiet time before the day becomes busy or getting up extra early to get outside for a walk, or to a fitness class before work! 

Community Events 

Interested in exploring the Beaty Biodiversity Museum at night? On Thursday November 21st from 5:00-8:30pm the Beaty Biodiversity Museum will be open to explore and admission will be by donation.
