La COVID-19 a fortement frappé les organisations de santé en raison de trois facteurs: la méconnaissance de ce nouveau virus, la peur des gens et les changements continus dans la gestion de la crise.

Cette situation exigeait de la flexibilité et de l'adaptabilité des organisations, comme l'a démontré le CHUM. Il reposait sur un modèle de gestion décentralisé basé sur trois piliers: une culture de l'innovation et de la créativité, une structure organisationnelle agile, et un écosystème et un réseau d'innovation ouverte.

Ces atouts étaient déjà développés avant le début de la COVID-19 et ont aidé notre organisation à mieux répondre à la crise.
