Trauma and Violence Informed Nursing Practice Related to Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence

In response to recommendations from the Domestic Violence Death Review Committee and the Chief Coroner, the College is sharing evidence-informed resources to support nursing practice related to domestic and intimate partner violence (D/IPV), suicide risk, and gender-based violence.

It's Almost Time: Validation of Entry Level Competencies for Registered Nurses

In July 2025, CNNB invited RNs to share insights to inform the update of the entry-level competencies (ELCs) to ensure the revised ELCs reflected current and emerging realities in nursing practice. Now it is time to validate the revised ELCs, an email will be sent by the CNNB to RN registrants with a link to the validation survey in the upcoming weeks.
