GO-Poly is a welcome and integration program created specifically for new Polytechnique Montréal students. Follow us for an optimal start in your new university environment!

 
Cours

Do not forget to confirm your registration for the fall 2022 semester during the periods mentioned in the academic calendar, which is from August 10 to September 12, 2022.

You must retrieve your access code and password from your Student Record (Dossier étudiant).

 

COURSES START ON AUGUST 29.

You will be able to select your courses and make course changes during the registration period.

Please note! Before making your course selection, it is very important to make sure you complete your study plan with your Supervisor or your Research Supervisor. The study plan is mandatory for all new graduate students.

Double degree students
The course selection for your integration semester has already been entered in your Student File, according to the selection that you transmitted in your admission. If you want to, you will be able to make changes to these courses. The study plan will only be needed for your first semester in the 
Master's program.

In addition to attending presentations, you'll have the opportunity to interact with students, professors and staff members from your department during a cocktail reception.

Tutoriels

As part of the GO-Poly program, a group of experienced students has prepared a series of tutorials to help you understand the essential tools you will use throughout your studies at Polytechnique Montréal. You can also visit the IT tools section of our website

 

All students have an email account with the following format: firstname.lastname@polymtl.ca. This address will only be activated within 48 hours of registering for your first trimester of studies at Polytechnique. Access your account at www.imp.polymtl.ca. You can also redirect your email address to a different email account of your choice via your student file online.

AÉCSP

The Association des Étudiants aux Cycles Supérieurs de Polytechnique (AÉCSP) represents all graduate students at Polytechnique Montréal. Through its motto Gather, represent, give back, achieve, the AÉCSP clearly expresses its intentions: to create a cohesive student community, with common interests and shared experiences.

INTEGRATION ACTIVITIES

Different student committees at Polytechnique Montréal have prepared a variety of fun integration activities for you.

It's the perfect opportunity to meet other students and build relationships that will last throughout your studies!

Hosted by experienced students, the guided tours are a great way to get to know Polytechnique in a different way! The tour includes a visit to the Louise-Lalonde-Lamarre Library and a tour of the major buildings on campus.

The student ID card is mandatory to circulate in Polytechnique's buildings during the semester. New students who will be on campus during the Fall 2022 semester will be able to have their Polytechnique Montréal ID card issued on appointment Visit the Institutional Security Service website for more information.

Entry to Canada
It is mandatory to have all the necessary authorizations to study before considering coming to Canada. To find out what you need to do to come to Canada, consult:

We remind you that the authorized deadline to enter Canada, and begin your Fall 2022 term, is September 12, 2022.


Reminder to register for Accueil Plus
We recommend that you register for the Accueil Plus (Welcome Plus) program. This will allow you to have a simplified route to the Canada Border Services Agency office and to benefit from a welcome at their rception booth.

Administrative procedures
Between now and September 12, you will need to provide certain immigration documents to the Registrar's Office in order to maintain your registration for the Fall 2022 term. Some of you will also have to make arrangements for health and hospitalization insurance.
