Looking Back at Summer

Summer at Verve was full of moments to celebrate. We marked Canada Day, enjoyed ice cream truck visits and Banana Split Day, and headed out on scenic road trips. The Great Canadian Open House welcomed families and our communities, and we also gathered to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Go4Life

Movement is more fun when you do it together, and that’s what Go4Life is all about. Residents join a daily walking club, adding steps while enjoying the company of friends. Walking together boosts circulation, energy, and mood, and the support of the group helps everyone stay motivated. Go4Life also includes light resistance activities that support strength and brain health, helping residents feel their best.

Autumn Harvest Power Bowls

Squash is the star ingredient this season. It’s rich in flavour, full of nutrients, and perfect for fall and winter meals.
Bryan Simmons, Regional Director of Dining Services in Ontario, has created chicken and salmon squash powerbowls that show just how vibrant a simple meal can be. Fresh vegetables, hearty grains, and seasonal squash come together in a dish that looks as bright as it tastes.
