GO-Poly is a welcome and integration program created specifically for Polytechnique Montréal's new students. Follow us for an optimal start at your new university!

As soon as you register for your first course at Polytechnique Montréal, you will be required to electronically sign the Code of Conduct commitment, through Polytechnique's learning management system, Moodle.

A course entitled "Code of Conduct - Graduate Studies - GO-Poly" (and the equivalent French version "Code de conduite - Études supérieures - GO-Poly") are now available on your Moodle account, accessible from the welcome screen dashboard (tableau de bord) or course list. Please select the course in the language of your choice.

Take some time to read the content of this course and complete it (sign it) before the deadline, which is Friday SEPTEMBER 30,2022.

If you wish to address an academic issue, you should know that the Education Council (CONSED) of the Association des étudiants des cycles supérieurs de Polytechnique (AÉCSP) is there to represent you in various academic committees and to guide you in difficult situations. Every week, you will find in your Polytechnique email box, the newsletter dedicated to the latest news but also to the activities organized by your associations or Poly's services.
Please also note that from now on, all communications from the institution will only be sent to your e-mail address firstname.lastname@polymtl.ca.

Poly-forum

Poly-Forum was created to allow you to easily obtain answers to all your questions that may arise from your activities at Polytechnique Montréal.

The answers are provided by Polytechnique Montréal content experts within a maximum of 24 to 36 hours following your request, from Monday to Friday.

Immigration

Entry to Canada
If you did not arrived in time for the start of the course, please carefully read the "Late arrivals" section (Master's, DESS, Doctorate/Double Degree) of our website.

Advisory Service
If you have any questions or issues regarding your immigration documents during your studies at Polytechnique Montréal, the SEP offers a website with many useful resources for international students. You can also get personalized advice from our immigration counsellors.

  • Consult the International Students website for useful information on immigration document renewal, on-campus and off-campus work permits, post-graduation health and hospitalization insurance for international students (ASHEE), etc.
     
  • If you did not find the information you were looking for, please come to our
    SEP office (room C-240) during our quick walk-in consultations without appointment
    from Monday to Thursday, between 1:00 and 2:00 pm.

     
  • You can also write to the immigration advisors at sep-international@polymtl.ca.
