Action required: Log in to MyConnection to avoid access issues

There has been a recent cleanup of inactive MyConnection accounts. Accounts not accessed in over six months have been inactivated, and accounts inactive for over one year have been deleted.

If your account requires reactivation, contact MyConnection Inquiry center at 1-833-766-4390. Current turnaround time is approximately 24 hours, but higher volumes may result in delays.

Best practice: Log in at least once every three months to keep your account active as passwords expire every 90 days.

Become a Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is proud to support registered nurses who are interested in advancing their scope of practice by becoming a Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice (RN-AAP).

SHA will provide sponsorship for eligible current registered nurse employees to complete the required courses through Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Education

The internal sponsorship application deadline is April 1, 2026.

What is an Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice?

A Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice is a registered nurse who has completed additional education and is authorized under The Registered Nurses Act, 1988 to provide expanded clinical services.

Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice are authorized to:

  • Diagnose and treat limited common medical disorders.
  • Prescribe and dispense medications.
  • Order, perform, and interpret designated screening and diagnostic tests.
  • Perform designated minor surgical and invasive procedures.

These positions are currently available in Beauval, Buffalo Narrows, Pinehouse Lake and Sandy Bay.

MyConnection - new search features launches February 19

Search in MyConnection is getting smarter and easier to use. Starting February 19, you will be able to type a question in plain language and the new search will quickly find information from our trusted knowledge documents and provide a clear, summarized answer, offer step-by-step guidance or help you start the right request.

You can view the source documents used to generate answers and open them to read the full knowledge articles, giving you the same reliable information in a faster, more user-friendly way. For more details, refer to the MyConnection Assistant Search Guide.

At the same time, the MyConnection home page has been refreshed to create a cleaner, less busy experience. Information is now easier to find using AI search or the main menu dropdowns. Learn more by reviewing the MyConnection Home Page Refresh Guide.

Well-being weekly video - Fulfillment

This week's video, Fulfillment, explores the difference between success and true satisfaction. You can achieve a lot and still feel empty. Fulfillment comes when your actions match what matters most to you — bringing inner peace, purpose, and energy that lasts. The video introduces a simple four-step practice: name your values, focus on the process, build small daily habits, and define success in your own words.

Effective today, February 17, 2026, the Therapeutic Phlebotomy document bundle is implemented and available for use across SHA.
All clinical team members who perform this procedure are expected to review and follow the SHA clinical procedure and its associated documents.
