Teddy Bear Hunt - Thursday, July 7

Please be advised that the Teddy Bear Hunt will take place throughout downtown on Thursday, July 7 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Downtown businesses are invited to join in the fun and participate informally with their own teddy bear display; however, they will not be listed on the official Teddy Bear Hunt map.

Taste of Okotoks - Saturday, July 16

Calling all restauranteurs! The Taste of Okotoks is back for its 10^th year. Showcase your restaurant and menu with featured food samples at this culinary celebration event that draws local residents as well as visitors from across the Foothills and Calgary regions. The Town of Okotoks is looking for local food providers, restaurants and caterers to participate and showcase Okotoks' diverse food scene. Registration to participate must be received no later than July 7 at 12 noon.
There are also opportunities to register for the Artisan Street Market through our partner, Okotoks Market Square.

Business Highlight Opportunity - Showcase Your Business!

What is a Business Highlight?

The Business Highlight program gives local businesses the opportunity to showcase their business in Economic Development's monthly Business Beat Newsletter, on the Town’s social media platforms and Success Stories webpage. It is a great way to reach a wider audience and let local residents what products and services you offer!

What should I submit?

Here are the guidelines of what to include in your submission:

• Local businesses with a current business license with the Town of Okotoks may submit a business highlight.
• A little about your businesses’ history in the Town of Okotoks
• The products/services you offer
• What makes your business stand out from others like it
• The bottom of the submission needs to contain contact information to help customers reach you
• Please write 6 to 10 sentences and include a photo of your business.
