How to Check if Applicants Have Deferred Requests

Most Ontario universities and colleges have released their winter term grades. Institutions are now sending “After degree conferred” transcripts.

To check if an applicant has any of these deferred requests:

Log in to the OUAC Portal or Email eTranscripts

July 1 Changes to Fees – Now Updated

Any transcript request fee changes that universities requested for July 1 are now reflected both in the OUAC applications and on our website.

Applications and Distribution Updates

How to Make Undergraduate Program Changes for 2026

Until September 11:
Use the Program Updates tool in the OUAC Portal in our user test environment (UAT).

After September 11:
Send all program update requests to programupdates@ouac.on.ca
(as you do now for current-cycle program updates).

105F Programs Closing on July 31

On July 31, all 105F application programs (i.e., all statuses other than Canadian citizen or permanent resident) will close.

You can open a closed program for an applicant using the Late Exceptions tool in the OUAC Portal.

Note: An applicant must start their application before you can make a late exception.

Deadline for Ontario High School Grades

July 7: While July 7 is the deadline for Ontario high schools to submit their grades to us, we allow a grace period of several days, as some schools and boards might not be able to meet the deadline for various reasons, such as technical issues.

July 14: Target date for the OUAC to send all remaining final grades to the universities.

Email to Students With Missing Grades

In mid-July, the OUAC will email all Group A (current Ontario high school) applicants who have fewer than six 4U/M courses with grades in their account.

The email will advise them to arrange with their school to forward missing grades to the OUAC as quickly as possible.
