Resident Satisfaction Survey

The Town has launched a resident satisfaction public survey to help inform future decision making, budgeting, and priority setting.

The survey will be available until Sunday, June 26, 2022, and can be accessed by visiting the project webpage. Paper copies are available upon request by calling (519) 599-3131 ext. 295 or through pickup at Town Hall and The Blue Mountains Public Library.

The survey results will be presented to the current Town Council this summer and the new Town Council in February 2023 following the Municipal Election.

Lawn & Garden Watering Restrictions

The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise residents that lawn and garden watering restrictions are now in effect through the summer until September 1, 2022.

Properties with odd-numbered addresses can water on odd-numbered calendar days between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Properties with even-numbered addresses can water on even-numbered calendar days between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

The restrictions apply to outdoor use of water. If there is a discrepancy regarding your property address, please contact (519) 599-3131 ext. 285 for assistance.

Town Seeking Bids for Food Trucks

The Town is seeking bids from interested parties to provide and operate food truck services at the Tomahawk Recreation Complex, Northwinds Beach, and Little River Beach.

Each location has a minimum bid or rental rate for each season. Interested parties may contact the Town’s Facilities Manager to ask questions and to obtain the Request for Quotation document.
