Patient Education: Our New Resource Demystifies Health Care Language

From CME to SBAR, health care vocabulary isn’t always the most straightforward. In fact, sometimes it can feel like a foreign language. That's why we're proud to announce a new resource aimed at helping patients decode and understand health care terminology.

Glossary

We strive to foster collaboration and encourage important conversations between health care and patient partners. But in order for everyone to take part in these discussions, it's important that patients feel equipped with the right tools and resources to participate.

Our new glossary provides simple explanations of the terms and jargon you may be faced with in the health care system. It can even be used on the go to look up methods or phrases as you encounter them! The glossary is mobile-friendly, enabling patient partners to use this resource in real time to better navigate engagement opportunities and help communicate your health care experiences.
