Please note that preparatory work for the construction of the new curb on Rue Tremblay is currently underway.

To avoid any access issues while the curb foundation is being prepared, we ask residents at addresses 161 through 208 on Rue Tremblay to move their vehicles. We suggest that you park temporarily on neighboring streets, such as Rue Lebeau or Rue Aumais.

Concrete pouring for the new curb is scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2026.

As part of this project, and given that excavation work is currently underway between 156 and 117 Rue Tremblay, trucks will have to use Rue Lebeau on a temporary basis for two days, on September 4 and 8, 2026.

To ensure the work proceeds smoothly and to safeguard the safety of road users and local residents, the City has asked the contractor to follow these guidelines:

  • Keep truck speeds and noise on Rue Lebeau to an absolute minimum;
  • Protect the roadway and ensure the street is left clean after vehicles have passed;
  • Minimize inconvenience to residents and road users in the area.

For everyone’s safety, please follow the signage in place.

Thank you for your understanding.
