WL W23 Research Assistant for qualitative research (non-lab) | Climate change, Health, and Social Inequities

Selected candidates will conduct interviews with people marginalized along race and class lines, low-income and racialized seniors, and/or people with mental disorders such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder currently in treatment. Truth and Reconciliation Workshop | UBC Botanical Garden

The goal of this 3 hour workshop is to increase the collective capacity of UBC Science to understand the lived experiences of Indigenous Peoples as well as to learn about colonial Canadian narratives that impact Indigenous communities.

Instructor Brad Marsden from the Gitksan Nation, British Columbia, creates space for groups to learn, listen, understand and discuss the impact of residential schools and colonization.
