HPE Care Pathway for Infant and Early Mental Health Virtual Launch Event

As part of the Hastings and Prince Edward (HPE) community, health-care providers and community practitioners are invited to attend an exciting event presented by:

  • Early Learning, Childcare and Education Committee, of the HPE Child and Youth Planning Table, and
  • Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion (IEMHP)-SickKids.

This event will focus on services and supports for young children from birth to age six and the care pathways to support infant and early mental health in our community.

Over the past several years, community partners throughout HPE who support children ages 0 to six have been working closely with IEMHP-SickKids to develop an evidence-based strategy that ensures early identification of developmental and social-emotional challenges among our youngest of children.

On Nov. 12, 2025, we would like to invite health-care providers and community practitioners to the HPE Care Pathway for Infant and Early Mental Health Virtual Launch Event. This virtual event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the importance of the early years and to hear about the current infant and early mental health practices and initiatives that have been implemented throughout our community. The event will include:

  • Keynote presentation by Dr. Chaya Kulkarni, Director, Infant and Early Mental Health (IEMH) Promotion, SickKids
  • Overview of HPE Care Pathways for Infant and Early Mental Health
    • Pathway maps and resources
  • How to connect parents and families to Infant and Early Mental Health services within HPE

To RSVP, please complete the online registration form.
