Meet the Economic Development Team!

Economic Development Week was trecently proclaimed by Okotoks Town Council and was celebrated from May 6-10 this year. This week honors the critical role of economic developers in fostering community growth and prosperity.

These professionals work tirelessly to attract and retain businesses, develop a skilled workforce, revitalize neighborhoods and support entrepreneurship. By advocating for infrastructure and facilitating collaborations among local governments, businesses and educational institutions, economic developers create the conditions for sustainable economic growth.

This week is an opportunity to recognize their behind-the-scenes efforts, highlight successful partnerships and inspire future talent in the field. It's a time to appreciate how their work leads to job creation, economic resilience and enhanced quality of life in our communities.

Meet Josh and Lorie, experienced economic developers who are passionate about helping businesses succeed. With their deep knowledge of local resources and a commitment to fostering community growth, they're eager to support your business venture from concept to launch and beyond. Whether you need guidance on navigating local regulations or building strategic partnerships, Josh and Lorie are ready to help you turn your vision into reality!
