Stoney Nakoda Nation and Canadian Mountain Network have released a 14-minute film about using Indigenous cultural monitoring to enhance the reintroduction of plains bison to the landscape. This Indigenous-led research study included collaborations between the Stoney project lead William (Bill) Snow, Parks Canada, UBC Studios, Mount Royal University, and IRES's Don Carruthers Den Hoed.

Recruiting PhD and MSc students: Inclusive Conservation Lab

The Moore Inclusive Conservation Lab at UBC is recruiting graduate students (MSc or PhD) for the 2024/2025 academic year to conduct interdisciplinary research on coastal wetland ecology and conservation.
