Opening of Dorwin Falls Park | New Date

One of Rawdon’s favourite recreational tourist sites, Dorwin Falls Park, will be open 7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm beginning on May 7th (and not on April 30th as previously announced in the last edition of the Rawdonnois) Watch our website and our Facebook page for the opening dates of Cascades Park and the municipal beach! Admission is always free of charge for residents!

Offer a friend a free pass!
Once again this year, we are offering two passes for the beach and Dorwin Falls Park to the property owners of Rawdon (two passes per property). They will be available at the Town Hall beginning in May.


Garage Sale

Finally, it’s baaaaack! The spring garage sale will take place on May 21st and 22nd, throughout the territory! What a great opportunity to give the articles you no longer need a second chance at being useful.

New Signage

Please note that, to make this intersection safer, a stop sign will be installed, in both directions, on Lakeshore Drive at the rue des Cardinaux intersection, from May 1st to October 31st of each year.

Flushing of the aqueduct

The Department of Public Works, Environmental health division, will be flushing the municipal aqueduct system.

The work will take place from May 1st to 7th between 9 pm and 7 am.

In addition, from May 9th to 13th, between 7 am and 6 pm, a specialized firm will be checking and testing the fire hydrants.
