This week’s educator resources, "Essential Tools for Mental Health and Wellness," includes content to support students' mental health and well-being, creating a supportive, inclusive, and mentally healthy learning environment.

Educator Resources:

  1. Provided by Healthy Minds BC, the Online Resource Library contains evidence-informed child and youth mental health resources.

  2. Provided by the First Nations Education Steering Committee, a poster of The First Peoples Principles of Learning is a helpful resource to include in any classroom.

  3. Let's Talk About Mental Health and Wellness, developed in partnership with the National Black Leadership Commission on Health, is a video that provides an overview of what is mental health and wellness, including supportive tips.
