Delegations and Presentations

Kimberley Edible Garden and Greenhouse (KEGG)

Sue Lysachok, President of the Kimberley Edible Gardens and Greenhouse Society, provided Council with an update of operations at the graden and greenhouse site at McDougall Park in Townsite. The park produced several tonnes of food that was divided amongst KEGG members, the Helping Hands Food Bank, Healthy Kimberley Food Recovery Depot and others. KEGG requested that Council approve an extension to the gardens. Council directed staff to bring back a staff report related to renewing and amending the current land use agreement. 


Bylaws, Permits, And Policies

Bylaw No. 2796, City of Kimberley Sewer Rates and Regulations Bylaw No. 1462, 1982, Amendment No. 29, 2025 and Waterworks Rates and Regulations Bylaw No. 2148, 2002, Amendment No. 23, 2025 for consideration of first three readings.

Council provided first three readings to the above-noted bylaws. 


New Business

2026 Regular Council Meeting and Committee of the Whole Meeting Calendar

Corporate Officer Maryse Leroux requested and received Council approval of the 2026 Council Meeting Calendar. The calendar below will also be uploaded to the City website and City events calendar. 


The Council meeting concluded at 7:32 pm, at which point an In-Camera meeting was conducted.
