BC time zone change: what it means for your calendar

B.C.’s move to permanent daylight saving time takes effect November 1, 2026, and it may affect your Outlook calendar and devices. To help ensure meetings continue to appear at the correct time, update and restart your devices, check your time zone settings, and update the time zone in meetings you organized for November 1 and later.

UBC IT has also launched a secure self-service tool to help update many eligible meetings.
