Winter Registration

Registration is open for UBC Active Kids programs for the Winter 2024 (Jan-Apr) term!

Dunbar Community Centre Registration Day: Tuesday, Dec 5 at 7pm

Wesbrook Community Centre Registration Day: Monday, Dec 4th at 9am

To register for programs held at Dunbar and Wesbrook, please contact the community centre directly.

Gymnastics Drop-in Reminder

The last day of gymnastics drop-in sessions is Friday, Dec 15th.

Please note during the last week of drop-in, family drop-in will be 1.5 hours (30 minutes longer).

  • Wednesday, Dec 13: 11am-12:30pm
  • Friday, Dec 15: 11am-12:30pm
  • Friday, Dec 15: 7:15pm-8:45pm

Homeschool Programs

Designed specifically for the home learners community, UBC Multisport and Gymnastics Homeschool programs are now open for registration!

Winter Break Closure

UBC Active Kids would like to thank our community for another great term! The last day of Active Kids programs is Fri, Dec 8th.

We wish everyone happy holidays and look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year! Active Kids and the Outreach Registration Office will be closed from Dec 23 to Jan 2. 

The first day of Winter 2024 programs is Monday, Jan 15!

SUNRISE Research Participation Opportunity

Would you like to be part of a global initiative monitoring the new World Health Organization Guidelines for physical activity, sedentary behaviour and sleep for children?

As part of the International Study of Movement Behaviours in the Early Years (SUNRISE), the Population Physical Activity Lab will be recruiting Active Kids families and 3-4 year old children to participate in a series of cognitive, motor and physical assessments in the new year.
