Report of the Pan-Canadian meeting on Health in All Policies (HiAP)

The NCCHPP organized a Pan-Canadian meeting on Health in All Policies (HiAP) in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada and the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec (MSSS – Québec's ministry of health and social services) held in October. The Centre has prepared a report and a summary version presenting the results of the discussions that took place during the meeting.

New secretariat

The NCCHPP joins the Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP)

We are pleased to have become a new member of the Global Network for Health in All Policies (GNHiAP). The GNHiAP works with various governments and institutions across different sectors at all levels to address the determinants of health by strengthening the HiAP approach.

The NCCHPP is also proud to support the activities of the GNHiAP by assuming the role of network secretariat. This new mandate will allow us to stay informed of international developments in HiAP, stay in touch with international stakeholders, and network and share knowledge with Canadian stakeholders.

CIHI COVID-19 Intervention Scan

The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is maintaining a comprehensive scan of federal, provincial and territorial government interventions, announcements and other measures to reduce the spread of and improve health outcomes related to COVID-19. The scan will be updated regularly and can be used to support COVID-19 research and analysis. It includes information about case finding and management, openings and closures, physical distancing, health workforce capacity and other measures.
