CDA & CIHI sign agreement to improve pharma data

CIHI and Canada’s Drug Agency signed a three-year agreement to build a stronger drug data and analytics foundation across Canada. The agreement will support analytics to improve drug access, safety and health outcomes.

A study using routinely collected data at ICES examined the sex-specific epidemiology of alcohol-associated hepatitis in adolescents and young adults, finding the greatest increase observed in women, suggesting sex-specific interventions are needed.
