Aéro Montréal's mission is to mobilize stakeholders in Quebec’s aerospace ecosystem to support its global reach, innovation capacity and growth.

Message from the President

Guillemets

Dear members, dear partners,

The second part of our Global Aerospace Supply Chain Summit will be held in a few days and the entire Aéro Montréal team is mobilizing to offer you an unforgettable experience, in person, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. If you have not yet secured your place, do so quickly and add this unmissable business meeting to your calendar today.

You will first hear from a panel of women leaders who were at the heart of the action during the crisis and who are already working hard on the recovery and the development of a more sustainable future. Moderated by Ève Laurier, Vice President, Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs, Bombardier, this panel will include Catherine Guillemart-Dias, who has taken the helm of the Canadian wing of Air France-KLM, and Janie Béïque, President of Fonds de solidarité FTQ, which is actively supporting the recovery of companies. We will also be looking at the other side of the Atlantic. On many occasions, France has been at the forefront of sectoral recovery plans adapted to the needs of the industry. With Kareen Rispal, Ambassador of France in Ottawa. we will have the opportunity to discuss how these good practices can be shared with our companies. Also joining us will be Clémentine Gallet, President of Coriolis Composites and an active member of GIFAS, which represents the voice of SMEs.

A panel moderated by Nancy Barber, President, Barber Complete Consultancy Inc. will examine the key elements for securing an effective presence in today’s and tomorrow’s supply chains. Our experts Sylvie Pinsonnault, Senior Vice President, Business Strategies and Solutions, Investissement Québec, Hugue Meloche, President and CEO, Meloche Group, and Éric Côté, President, Jaunt Air Mobility, will share their vision.

We are offering you an edition full of solutions to build a more sustainable supply chain! By participating, you will also have the chance to reconnect with your business partners in person.

Don’t miss this major international industry event,

I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, October 26.

SUZANNE M. BENOÎT, President of Aéro Montréal

Study on incentives to attract defence and security

Call for tenders for the preparation of a study on incentives to attract defence and security investments in Canada

The defence and security sector is very attractive to aerospace companies because it allows for diversification of the customer portfolio and ensures greater resilience in times of economic difficulty.

Despite the fact that this is primarily a federal jurisdiction, Aéro Montréal, in partnership with the Government of Québec, is proposing that a study be conducted to identify the gaps between the investment incentives designed to attract international mandates for defence and security contracts in Canada and those offered by other jurisdictions. The study will also aim to develop concrete measures to close these gaps, thereby ensuring the maintenance or expansion of high value-added activities (R&D, productivity enhancement projects, etc.) in Québec.

To see the call for tenders, click here.

Deadline: Responses to this call for tenders must be received by the end of the day on Friday, October 29, 2021. Responses received after this date will be automatically rejected.

Contact: For any questions regarding this call for tenders, please contact M.Sylvain Lefrançois at sylvain.lefrancois@aeromontreal.ca.

Survey - Forcus Québec 2025

Aéro Montréal invites you to participate in the Focus Québec 2025 survey

KPMG in Québec is proud to launch the Focus Québec 2025 initiative, which aims to survey organizations of all sizes and economic sectors on the existing and emerging factors that drive the prosperity of Québec companies.

By responding to this survey you will be contributing to the development of a study that aims to foster the prosperity of companies in your region and industry by taking stock of two major issues: adapting to supply chain challenges and the increasingly complex criteria of sustainable development.

We want to take a closer look at what drives the economy, identify best practices and share them with businesses across the province to help them continue to grow and prosper in an increasingly changing marketplace. Together, we can develop a common approach and solutions to these challenges.

For more information on the Focus Québec 2025 project, visit the initiative webpage or contact Élise Boutin-Michaud.
