Here are some possible causes of these incidents: - The Town recently flushed its water supply system.
- Manipulations of valves and hydrants cause pressure fluctuations in the network.
- This increases the pressure in the network in this sector, and under these conditions, leaks are more likely to occur in cast-iron pipes dating back to the 1970s.
- During a short period of the ongoing construction work in the Montagne sector, the network may also have been under more pressure than usual.
We thank the affected residents for their patience and understanding, and our crews for quickly repairing the leaks! | Gradual Lowering of the Lake Level Our public works team will gradually lower the lake level over the coming weeks. We therefore recommend that you remove all docks and boat lifts from the lake before November 1. This is the usual winter drawdown to prevent spring flooding and ice damage to the banks.
