Celebrating Gold Medal Olympian Ethan Katzberg

Join us Thursday, September 26 at 10:30 am in the Rotary Bowl (behind NDSS) as we celebrate Paris 2024 Olympic gold medalist Ethan Katzberg and many other past and present Olympians/Paralympians that call Nanaimo home. The 22-year old won Canada’s first gold medal in the hammer-throw event.

We are partnering with Nanaimo Track and Field, Pacific Sport and SD#68 and will be filling the stands with hundreds of Grade 5-7 students! Wear red and white and bring a lawn chair!

Past Olympians/Paralympians that call Nanaimo home, we want to see you there as well; email donna.stennes@nanaimo.ca to reserve your spot!

Can't make it? Rogers will livestream the event on their Youtube channel.
