APTS calls on the government to do its homework

After a weekend of intensive talks with the government, the APTS bargaining team is forced to conclude that the government negotiators still don’t have a mandate to discuss the issues of work overload and burnout, or to reach an agreement on measures that would help attract and retain personnel in all sectors of the health and social services system.

The one thing that was made clear this weekend is that the Treasury Board needs to do its homework if it intends to solve the issues raised by the APTS. Our bargaining team is ready to negotiate round the clock, 24/7.

The ball is in the government’s court.

We invite you to click on the video to hear the APTS message (in French) delivered by Emmanuel Breton, 3rd Vice-President of the APTS responsible for national bargaining, and Véronique Papillon, National Bargaining Coordinator.
