Outdoor Pool in Mundy Park
Updated Construction Timeline

We're committed to providing accessible, sustainable and safe facilities that meet the needs of our community for years to come. To support this goal, we embarked on renovating and expanding the 52-year-old outdoor pool in Mundy Park in the spring of 2023.

Originally scheduled to open in the summer of 2024, the pool will not be opening as planned due to unexpected and unavoidable circumstances, largely construction delays. We look forward to welcoming the community to this renovated and expanded pool for the 2025 outdoor swim season.

City of Coquitlam

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that the name Coquitlam was derived from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (HUN-kuh-MEE-num) word kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (kwee-KWET-lum) meaning “Red Fish Up the River”. The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
