Summer Reading Club

Calling Kids of All Ages—Join the BC Summer Reading Club!

This FREE summer program is a great way to discover new books and have fun reading throughout the summer.

Sign up at the Bowen Island Public Library starting on Tuesday, June 15th. You will get a reading tracker, bookmark, colouring sheet and a reading log. Or sign up online at bcsrc.ca to receive a digital tracker.

Book Donations Now Accepted Saturdays 1-3 pm

Friends of the Bowen Island Library volunters are now accepting donations of clean, good condition used books and DVDs on Saturdays from 1-3 pm only. The library cannot accept drop-offs at any other time.

A Friends of the Library volunteer will pre-screen your donations while you wait and will accept those that meet donation guidelines. Donors will need to take back any items that do not meet the guidelines.

We've got your Summer Reading Club reads at the Mini Book Sale in the Annex. Find more quality used kids' books to buy on the lower shelf of the book sale display, and of course there are tons more to borrow in the library.

All funds go to support the library, thanks to the work of the Friends of the Bowen Island Library Society volunteers.
