Synod Workshops

Friday, October 25, 2019 - Afternoon Workshop Options:The 2019 Synod Agenda will allow time for three workshops, with a view to offering tools to take back to parishes. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to attend two of the three workshops, with the hope being that delegates from the same parish will attend different workshops.

The Breakfast of Hope

A sold out fundraiser and silent auction for the Community Ministries– took place on September 26, 2019. A matching gift challenge of $20,000 was presented at the Breakfast.

Choral Evensong with The Cranmer Singers of Ottawa

All are welcome to join us for Choral Evensong with The Cranmer Singers of Ottawa, under the direction of Frances Macdonnell, will again be joining the Liturgical Choir of St. James’ for Choral Evensong, using the Book of Common Prayer. “We enjoy singing with the Choir at St. James” says Frances, "and are looking forward to being there again – it is a beautiful church”.

Our marriage preparation courses are designed to help participants to learn and grow through presentations given by professional speakers, small group discussions with trained facilitators, and couple conversations. All couples are welcome and participation is not limited by gender, age, or previous marital status.
