Today 4 Tomorrow, our annual appeal, takes place every year during Lent and Easter.

Please display the Today 4 Tomorrow poster sent to your church and choose one Sunday to include the attached insert in your bulletins.

Paint Nite for the Ottawa Pastoral Counselling Centre

The Ottawa Pastoral Counselling Centre is hosting a Paint Nite event to raise money for the Counselling Support Fund. Let's raise our paint brishes and raise funds for a great cause.

OPC’s Counselling Support Fund allows us to offer services to those in our community who are without the financial means to obtain professional counselling. Help us continue to build our Counselling Support Fund and together we can continue to make a difference in our communities.

Cathedral Arts: Gospel Hallelujah
A Black HIstory Month Celebration featuring The Academy Choir

The Gospel Hallelujah concert will feature traditional and contemporary gospel music. The Ottawa-based group The Academy Choir was formed in 2013, prompted by its visionary, Paul Wilson, to create a gospel music choir in Ottawa that excelled in its ability to sing all styles of gospel music.

safeTALK is a half-day training in suicide alertness. It helps participants recognize a person with thoughts of suicide and connect them with resources who can help them in choosing to live. International Women's Day Celebration Dinner

The Intercultural Dialogue Institute will be hosting its 4th annual International Women’s Day dinner and presentation. This year’s theme is “Women in Leadership Roles: Cultural and Professional Perspectives.” It will feature six prominent women from media, education, health care, business, and government. Dinner will be served. Several artists will be demonstrating their talents and the evening will also include an Irish Dance troupe.

SSJE Monastic Immersion Program

Each autumn, our community welcomes a small group of young men and women to live alongside our community as monastic interns for a period of nine months. Interns are single men and women (age 22-30), who desire a time of vocational discernment, spiritual reflection, or a period of sustained service that is slightly off the beaten path. Interns live in our Monastery Guesthouse in Cambridge, join the Brothers in daily worship, and assist with various aspects of the community’s ministry of hospitality. Interns also engage in robust theological and personal reflection guided by Brothers and meet regularly with spiritual directors from the SSJE community.
