MULTI-UNIT RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS

COVID-19 transmission occurs everywhere on the Island of Montreal. To stop the spread of the virus, owners of apartment buildings need to put in place certain measures. The Direction de la Santé publique du Québec has developed a document for building owners and residents.

REMINDER: PARKS AND PROMENADE DU CANAL CLOSED

We would like to remind citizens and visitors that all the parks (including the National Historic Site of the Canal-de-Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue) as well as the Promenade du canal are closed until further notice. No one is allowed to walk on these sites. Offenders are exposed to tickets.

The SPVM, in collaboration with the municipal patrol, conduct surveillance tours on a regular basis and will intervene if necessary.

We also ask you to comply with all measures imposed by governments, for the health and safety of all. Visit quebec.ca/coronavirus for all the latest up-to-date government measures.

PRIORITY SERVICES AND STORES

The Quebec government has extended the shutdown period for non-priority services until May 4, 2020.

If you are a business or commercial owner, you can check whether your services are included in the list of services deemed essential by the Government of Quebec by consulting their website.

Be aware that any business that continues to provide unauthorized services is subject to fines.
