Welcome to the 'Mental Health Week 2022' edition of Educator Resources. Mental Health Week is May 2nd to 8th, which includes National Child and Youth Mental Health Day on May 7th. 

The links below include recommended resources to help reduce mental health stigma and increase mental health awareness, learning more ways to connect and thrive.

  1. This year's theme for Mental Health Week is #GetReal. Click here for its toolkit "to spread empathy far and wide."
  2. Check out this Mental Health Literacy Toolbox, which includes a range of mental health resources for "bettering the lives of our youth."
  3. Narrated by Dr. Evan Adams, Healing in Pandemic Times: Indigenous Peoples, Stigma, and COVID-19 is a short animated video, including definitions of stigmatization, stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination.
