Altitude, Centre de l'aviation, based at Sherbrooke airport, wants to launch an air taxi project. The school's owner, Alexis Étienne, hopes to offer the service in Quebec next year.
He made the announcement on November 11 during an open day at Sherbrooke airport.
The Altitude school, an aviation center, is still awaiting official government documents which will allow the company to carry out its project.
Alexis Étienne plans to take off planes of 9 to 10 passengers from Sherbrooke to other airports in the province, even in New Brunswick and Ontario.
The market in Quebec is huge. There is really a lot of work to do in Quebec. For us, it allows us, in Sherbrooke, to put our pilots to work.
