What's happening?

New Code of Conduct: Effective June 1st, 2026

A Code of Conduct was approved by the CNNB Board and will come into effect June 1, 2026. It sets out clear and actionable expectations for professional practice, describing the behavior and conduct that RNs/NPs are required to uphold when practising in NB. All RNs/NPs are responsible for understanding the Code of Conduct’s principles and are accountable for applying them to their nursing practice: Code of Conduct for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.

Upcoming - New resources will soon be available on the CCNB website to support the implementation of the Code of Conduct.

AGM Highlights

CNNB hosted approximately 75 participants at this year's virtual AGM on May 20, 2026. Highlights included the CEO's presentation of the 2025 Annual Report and the Auditor's Financial Report. 

CNNB Board and staff would like to welcome incoming Region 1 Director Adèle LeBlanc (acclaimed) and returning Directors, Robyn Hamilton, Region 3 (acclaimed)  and Mélissa Duguay, Region 4 (acclaimed). Thank you to outgoing Region 1 director, Julie Boudreau for your contribution to the CNNB Board.
