Update on the repair work on the French drains and the outdoor fire protection system at the Laboratoire de santé publique du Québec

Due to circumstances beyond the contractor’s control, the repair work on the French drains and the outdoor fire protection system at the Laboratoire de santé publique du Québec will ultimately be carried out from July 13 to 20, 2026.

  • The work was originally scheduled for June 22 through July 17, 2026;
  • The work will ultimately take place from July 13 through July 20, 2026;
  • The work will take place at the Laboratoire de santé publique du Québec, located at 20045 Chemin Sainte-Marie. 

The work will include, among other things, the installation of a new water supply system to provide water to the fire protection network. The work will be carried out by the contractor St-Denis Thompson Inc., with a connection to the Chemin Sainte-Marie water supply network.

  • Traffic will continue to flow throughout the duration of the work;
  • Traffic signs will be posted to indicate detour routes as needed.
