At the last Council meeting, the elected representatives adopted the regulatory framework, which includes the obligation for non-residents to have their boats washed before each stay on Brome Lake. Residents of Brome Lake who own a boat will be able to obtain a vignette to have their boat cleaned free of charge, if they have previously sailed on another body of water. If the boat is used only on Brome Lake, an exemption will be issued. Please note, however, that the effective date is still unknown! We'll let you know the details as soon as possible. Stay tuned! | | Housing Policy: Thank You for Your Participation! Last Wednesday, over a hundred of you attended an information session on a forthcoming housing policy. Starting in June, visitors to our renowned public market will enjoy a whole new experience! - install dry toilets
- create an access road for the exclusive use of producers
- create a picnic area for market users

And that's not all! Here are some other improvements to come in a second phase: - construction of a wooden staircase to facilitate entry to the site
- creation of a forest embankment
- construction of a children's playground

This does not, however, put an end to collaboration with our neighbour in other areas, notably prevention. Mr. Robinson, who will take office on May 27, will have carte blanche to determine what happens next. Thank you to the Town of Sutton for the years of partnership! | | SCAOPI Knowlton Road On May 6, 2024, the Council adopted the Distinct Draft Project of a Specific Construction, Alteration or Occupancy Proposals for an Immovable (SCAOPI) for lot 4 266 078, Knowlton Road.
