Hello to all,
On Monday, as part of International Women’s Day, Aéro Montréal unveiled the major recommendations and guidelines put forward by the aeronautics industry to promote the advancement of diversified skills and fair employment practices within organizations in the sector.
One year after the Inclusive Organization of Tomorrow Forum, which was held in March 2019, Aéro Montréal is making available a real working and reference tool: a white paper that aims to support the implementation of a succession planning strategy in aerospace and to attract the next generation of skilled workers. I invite you to consult it now on our website!

Mr. Jean Boulet, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Solidarity and Minister responsible for the Mauricie region, was present at this event. He took the opportunity to announce the granting of $1.85 million to support Phase 3 of the MACH program. This funding will make it possible to support nearly 1,500 aerospace industry workers in developing their skills.
These two pieces of good news confirm the commitment of the government and Aéro Montréal to address the sector’s labour challenges. They will provide the industry with the tools it needs to implement concrete action plans on equity, diversity and inclusion, as well as to develop skills and improve productivity.
