We're looking for 5 KIN Senior Orientation Leaders!

Do you want to become part of a dynamic, positive team of student leaders that work together to make a lasting impact on a first year or transfer student's experience?  Are you ready to take the next step in developing your leadership, group management, facilitation and problem solving skills?

We are looking for five (5) dynamic, positive, committed and goal-oriented students who thrive in a team environment. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the strategic planning for Imagine Day. You will also help develop and train a team of up to 8 Orientation Leaders in support of fostering a respectful, inclusive and welcoming introduction to UBC KIN!

Seeking ideas for UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan

Deadline: December 12th, 11:59pm

UBC invites you to complete a survey on their Indigenous Strategic plan, which is in the final stages of development and will guide the University’s Indigenous engagement initiatives for years to come.

We welcome participation from everyone, no matter where you see yourself in relation to Indigenous engagement across UBC. Please let us know how UBC can become a leading university locally and globally in implementing (i.e. recognizing and respecting) Indigenous peoples’ human rights.

The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

KUS Interfaculty Food Drive Competition

November 25th-29th | Room 120, War Memorial Gym, or Wood foyer

Join the UBC community in the fight against hunger this holiday season! Your donations of non-perishable food items, hygiene items, cooking tools and monetary donations will go towards the AMS Food Bank, which supports your fellow UBC students.

The faculty with the largest relative donation will win a trophy, and bragging rights as the most giving faculty this year!

Items can be donated at the KUS office (WMG 120) at office hours, or 10:00am-5:00pm in the Wood foyer.

If you are interested in giving a monetary donation, please contact Nikol Grishin at kus.pres@gmail.com, or  778-875-0597. Please note that a donation of $1 = 3 cans!
