Webinar – What Can We Learn from Public Health Expenditure Data in Canada from 1975 to 2018?
Thursday June 9, 2022, 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. EDT |
This webinar will present and discuss key findings from research led and published by Dr Mehdi Ammi, Professor at the Carleton University School of Public Policy and Administration in Ottawa, entitled, “Interpreting Forty-Three-Year Trends of Expenditures on Public Health in Canada: Long-Run Trends, Temporal Periods, and Data Differences”. While Canada has the highest share of public health expenditures among Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries, little is known about the evolution and composition of these expenditures and how they compare at the federal, provincial, and territorial levels. This is what Dr Ammi and his team have tried to better understand.
