Call for Panel Members, Anglican Diocese of Ottawa Refugee Ministry

The Anglican Diocese of Ottawa is a Sponsorship Agreement Holder with the Government of Canada and one of the largest sponsors of refugees in the country. We are establishing a Panel to provide oversight, leadership and support of our Refugee Ministry Office. The intention is that Panel members will be actively involved in various aspects of our refugee sponsorship. We are looking for people with experience in the following areas:

· Advocacy

· Networking and Government Relations

· Communications

· Outreach

· Fundraising

· Risk Management

· Volunteer Management

· Refugee Policy

Panel members will be appointed by the Bishop for an initial term of 2 years. They will attend 6-8 meetings per year and are expected to be actively involved in their functional area(s), up to 8 hours per month.
