Diagnose diet culture at UBCO

With the start of the new year, societal pressure to modify your physical appearance through diet and physical activity is at an all-time high. These pressures are often driven by diet culture. Our Campus Wellness & Education team wants to learn what perpetuates these values on our campus.

Capture a photo of something you think upholds diet culture on campus. This can include anything that may reinforce fatphobia, guilt or shame surrounding food and eating, or low self-esteem and negative body image.

Submit your photo for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card! Submissions close on February 7.
