ON-CAMPUS STUDENT RESIDENCES
The Université de Montréal ZUM residences offer the possibility to rent rooms from May 1 to August 24, 2024.

Rent a room

If you wish to live in residence in the 2024 fall semester, you will also need to register on the ZUM residences website, starting March 1, 2024. Please note that the number of rooms available is very limited. Renting a room during the summer does not guarantee you a spot in the fall semester, so register early to maximize your chances of securing a spot!

REGISTRATION
You will have to confirm your registration for the 2024 Summer semester in your Student File (dossier étudiant) during the period mentioned in the academic calendar, from April 9 to May 12 for the short semester, and from April 9 to May 19 for the long semester.

STUDY PLAN AND COURSE SELECTION
You will need to develop a study plan with your research or academic supervisor, which will then allow you to make your course selection in your Student File (dossier étudiant) according to the courses in your study plan. Please note that the course schedule for the summer semester 2024 will be available from March 11.

⇒ START OF CLASSES: MONDAY, MAY 6, 2024

Note for international students admitted to the Professional Master's or to a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS):

Since course offerings in most programs are very limited during the summer semester, determine your program’s course availability before deciding to arrive in Canada for the summer semester.
We recommend that you contact your supervisor (mentioned in your offer of admission) remotely, in order to discuss the feasibility of arriving during summer months. If necessary, please refer to admission deferral.

If you plan to start your program in the summer of 2024, but the course offerings in your program are insufficient to guarantee full-time enrollment, please contact us at sep-international@polymtl.ca. We will provide you with details regarding immigration rules and the options available to you.

Most students will need a Certificat d'acceptation du Québec for studies (CAQ), a Study Permit and a Temporary Resident visa or an electronic travel authorization. These procedures can take several months depending on your nationality, your country of residence and the place where your application will be processed.

You cannot come to Canada if you do not have all the required immigration authorizations. Pay close attention to possible arrival dates for your studies at Polytechnique.

IMPORTANT: Plan to arrive in Montreal at least two weeks before the start of classes, which is on May 6, in order to settle in properly.
